ABOUT
Dirt Face is all-in-one fence software. It gives fence contractors, fence manufacturers, and fence wholesalers one cloud platform to quote jobs, design fence layouts, build panels and gates in the shop, sell materials to dealers, schedule crews, invoice customers, and get paid — instead of juggling separate apps and spreadsheets.
In simple terms: you draw the fence on a satellite map, blueprint, or blank canvas, Dirt Face works out the materials, labor, and price, and the customer can review, sign, and pay online. Once the job is won, the same platform handles shop fabrication, scheduling, inventory, invoicing, and QuickBooks sync. Use only the parts you need — install only, shop only, wholesale only, or any mix — from solo owner-operators to multi-location businesses.
Who is behind Dirt Face:
Dirt Face was founded by Roc Demar, who spent 15 years as a fence contractor — digging holes, setting posts, stretching chain link, and running crews — before becoming a general contractor and then founding and selling a manufacturing business in 2023. He couldn't find software that understood how a fence company actually works, so he built it. The name comes from his wife, who started calling him "Dirt Face" after he came home from a brutal job caked in mud. The company, Dirt Face Inc., is a small, privately held software team headquartered in Cut Bank, Montana.
What Dirt Face includes:
• Fence estimating and quoting — automated material takeoffs, labor, overhead, and profit on every quote, with branded PDF proposals
• Fence design — lay out fence runs, corners, and gates on Google Maps satellite view, an uploaded blueprint, or a blank canvas
• Fence catalog and templates — your own parts database, vendor costs, and preloaded templates for wood, vinyl, chain link, aluminum, and ornamental fence
• Shop drawings — elevations and install detail for crews, customers, and tendered or government jobs
• Manufacturing and fabrication — won estimates become production orders with routing, work centers, BOMs, and a shop board (make-to-order or make-to-stock)
• Wholesale store — dealer price tiers, POS, and an online storefront where wholesale customers self-serve and create job estimates
• Fence CRM and customer portal — leads to signed, paid work in one pipeline; customers review proposals, sign, see photos, and pay
• Lead Generator App — a white-label website widget where homeowners draw their fence and get instant budget pricing before you call
• Crew, salesperson, and equipment scheduling — drag-and-drop calendar plus a crew portal with daily tasks and job locations
• Project Media — job-site photos and documents shared with the office, crew, and customer
• Inventory and purchasing — stock, purchase orders, and warehouses allocated to jobs, shop, and store
• Two-way SMS, invoicing, payments, and integrations with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop), Stripe, and Zapier
